Ornament Wreath

Most of you have probably seen this wreath tutorial making its way through the blogosphere, well I am no exception! When I saw how easy it was so make I had to try it myself!

All you do is take a wire hanger, bend it into a circle, untie the wrapping at the top, and slip on ornaments! It couldn't get any simpler! I got all of my ornaments and the wire hanger from the Dollar Tree! The check out girl even gave me the hanger for free!

Fall Tree

A few weeks ago I was at Porter's (our local craft store) and they had all of their Fall decorations up. They had the cutest display of a small pine tree with twinkle lights and these great little wicker pumpkins. I remembered that we had bought a mini Christmas tree last year and decided to try my hand at making my own Fall Tree!

Fun with tiles

One one of my DI trips I notices all of these ceramic tiles, they were in all sorts of sizes and ranged from $0.25 to $1.00

I had seen this post about turning tiles in coasters and tried my hand at it using scrapbook paper instead on tissue paper Here is another tile, but much larger! I just used mod podged a 12x12 piece of scrapbook paper down for the background and traced and cut out the "A"!

Frame Makeover

I found this lovely clown painting at DI (a local thrift store) for $10.

In my opinion I paid WAY too much! But I really liked the details on the frame!

I sanded off the gold paint and gave it a nice coat of dark brown paint...I then wrapped the clown in this fabric I found to match our living room curtains...

and don't mind the fact that the frame was coming apart at the corner there! I fixed it!

Originally I finished it off by hanging a metal star wreath in the middle by a ribbon, but it wasn't sitting well with me, so I opted for this instead...
After garnishing it with a few fun Hobby Lobby accessories, I think it turned out pretty cute!
